Kiely is one of five $1,000 winners across the nation.
The National Advisory Group (NAG) is a division of Convenience Store Decisions, a national leadership group helping convenience stores connect and engage to learn from one another. The John MacDougall NAG Scholarship was established to remember John MacDougall’s work and support of NAG. John MacDougall was the founder of Nice N Easy Grocery Shoppes. Eligible applicants must work in the convenience store industry or be children of a convenience store employee with a minimum of one year of employment. Kiely Barker is one of five recipients this year.
Kiely is going in to her junior year at Nazareth College in Rochester pursuing a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. She spends her semester breaks working in her hometown store, Taberg Cliff’s Local Market. Kiely works alongside the store manager, Shaun Barker, who is also her father. Kiely has helped to run the ice cream window for a few years.
Kiely’s passion for helping others get back on track through physical therapy is undeniable. Clifford Fuel is proud to honor Kiely and fortunate to have dedicated and driven employees like her and her father. Kiely is pictured here with her father, Store Manager Shaun Barker.
