HERKIMER, NY (Sept. 19, 2017)—Subway Restaurants of the Mohawk Valley presented representatives from Make-A-Wish® Central New York with a check for $4,282 this morning in celebration of the company’s July in-store campaign.
Throughout the month of July, the 28 stores within Subway’s Utica market sold blue paper Make-A-Wish stars for $1 each. The stars were displayed inside stores and each participating customer received a coupon for $1 off a Footlong Sub. The Cliff’s Local Market Subway location raised the most funds of the participating stores.
“With an average wish cost of $12,000, support from businesses like Subway – and their generous customers – is critical for us to create unforgettable wish experiences,” said Diane Kuppermann, President and CEO of Make-A-Wish Central New York. “We are so grateful for this new partnership with Subway and hope it continues well into the future!”
